How to allow member to write posts

The Ultimate Member plugin displays posts and comments in members profiles, but there is no tool to add and edit posts in profile. WordPress has a built-in tool for publishing posts. Members can create post using WordPress posts editor on wp-admin > Posts > Add New if their user role has capabilities needed to do this. The Author (author) role has needed capabilities by default. You can grant the same capabilities to other roles to allow them publishing posts.

See Roles and Capabilities.

Ultimate Member can edit capabilities for roles that belong to Ultimate Member on wp-admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit Role.
Use third-party plugin User Role Editor to edit capabilities for roles that don't belong to Ultimate Member.

Members with these capabilities can write posts. You also should allow these members to access the wp-admin area.
