Overview

The Fields Character and Words Counter plugin is a valuable addition to your Ultimate Member setup, enhancing user interactions by providing real-time character and word count functionality. Upon activation, this plugin allows effortless integration of character and word counters within the textbox and textarea fields of both the Profile and Register forms. With user-friendly configuration options, administrators can tailor the counters to suit their specific requirements. This real-time feedback not only aids users in adhering to character and word limits but also contributes to an improved overall user experience. Setting Character and Word Counter

Upon installing and activating the plugin, follow these steps to configure minimum and maximum characters or words for specific fields:

1. Navigate to wp-admin > Ultimate Member > Forms > Edit Form.
2. Click the "Edit" button for the desired field.

   

3. In the field manager, set the Minimum or Maximum Characters or Words by inputting the desired number in the text field. Click Update after editing the field.

   

4. To disable these limits, leave the text field empty or blank.
5. Click the "Update" button on the form to save the changes.

With these settings, users will now encounter character or word counters on their profile or registration pages, providing real-time feedback and improving their interaction with the respective fields.
