Header - Logged In
UM Theme has an out of the box compatibility with Ultimate Member plugin. You can display different content based on whether a user is logged in or logged out. If you have the Private Messages & Real Time Notifications extension installed you can show them in your header without customizing any code.
What can you show if a user is logged in
- User Avatar along with Menu
- Private Messages
- Real Time Notifications
- Add any item using Header Hooks
Displaying User's Display Name in Header
Before proceeding make sure you have Ultimate Member plugin installed.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header – Logged In
- Select Enable from Display Username
- Click on Publish.
Displaying User Avatar in Header
Before proceeding make sure you have Ultimate Member plugin installed.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header – Logged In
- Select Enable from User Avatar in Header
- Click on Publish.
Changing Private message Icon Color
Before proceeding make sure you have Private Message extension installed.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header – Logged In
- Click on Private Message Color picker to change the icon color.
- Private Message Hover Color to change the hover color.
- Click on Publish.
Changing Notification Icon Color
Before proceeding make sure you have Real Time Notifications extension installed.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header – Logged In
- Click on Notification Color picker to change the icon color.
- Notification Hover Color to change the hover color.
- Click on Publish.
Change the Header Profile position to left or right
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header - Logged In
- Change the Header Profile position to either left or right from Header Profile Position
- Click on Publish to save your changes
