Header - Logged In

UM Theme has out-of-the-box compatibility with the Ultimate Member plugin. You can display different content based on whether a user is logged in or logged out. 

What can you show if a user is logged in

  1. User Avatar along with Menu
  2. Private Messages
  3. Real-Time Notifications
  4. Add any item using Header Hooks

Displaying User Avatar in Header

Before proceeding make sure you have the Ultimate Member plugin installed.

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header – Logged In
  2. Select Enable from User Avatar in Header
  3. Click on Publish

Displaying User's Display Name in Header

Before proceeding make sure you have the Ultimate Member plugin installed.

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header – Logged In
  2. Select Enable from Display Username
  3. Click on Publish.

Change the Header Profile position to left or right

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header - Logged In
  2. Change the Header Profile position to either left or right from Header Profile Position
  3. Click on Publish to save your changes   

If you have the Private Messages, Friends & Real-Time Notifications extension installed you can show them in your header without customizing any code.
